My deep dive into project overrun reveals the majority is waste, not additional scope, but rather inappropriate mindsets, poor practices that lead to errors, mistakes and accidents and poor project management that fail to create the right plans, establish efficiencies and control and report on change.

The real challenge that addresses the deadly project sins the world has made a habit of making is in establishing and transferring the required explicit and tacit knowledge that creates the appropriate leadership and delivery practices, routines and behaviours from the boardroom to the coalface.

Past & Present

I have unique knowledge in large-scale project delivery that can benefit the world.

I started my career at 14 and by 30 with two engineering degrees, I had made my way to the boardroom as the business leader resolving complex project issues as the principal contractor. This hands-on experience became crucial to project turnaround and recovery involving full project life cycle practices that spanned every level from the boardroom to the coalface.

A decade later and completing an EMBA I founded two mid-tier companies, one as the Owner’s Rep. and the other a Principal Multidiscipline Contractor that set the Site benchmark performance working directly for industry giants, that included Rio Tinto and BHP.

Post the 2014/15 Global commodity price crash, I shifted my focus to codifying and developing visual intelligence maps on project delivery that addressed the Global challenge of project overrun to meet a personal commitment of being a global citizen.
